We finally made it to the Philadelphia Zoo, America's first zoo. Friends of mine, Michelle and Ann had passes and were kind enough to take us along for a half day. We saw monkeys, reptiles - notably the crocodile! - and bears. It was just enough and we are hoping to procure passes to go back again and again.
